I use it when a comment for a class or student blog becomes too long or I want to include audio, video or photos. Here is a link...
http://rossmannellcomments.edublogs.org/

The second most visited blog is one where I share short stories and write for challenges. It has had over 8,000 visits since being set up.
Another is for posts more relating to my local area. It only has three posts at this time because my other blogs and blog commenting takes up much time.
Of the remaining blogs, they are basic but were established with different groups so I could have access to student blogs for commenting. In time they will have their own purpose.

@RossMannell
Teacher (retired), N.S.W., Australia
rmannellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10325881715643049499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3565598103659255245.post-72019279295240242622012-10-13T20:31:33.454-07:002012-10-13T20:31:33.454-07:00Hi,

I also like art, reading and blogging of course!. I have just started up my own student blog which I am really excited about.

Do any students in your class have their own student blog? Do you have your own blog?

What are you busy doing during the school year?

Most of our school is quite busy at the moment preparing and rehearsing for our school production which is happening at the end of the term. We are doing the musical Aladdin. We have rehearsals nearly every weekend and every lunch time at school. I am really enjoying it but sometimes it can get a bit tiring. I am sure the end result will be great though!

I hope we can keep in touch.
Your blogging buddy Ashleigh. My grandma also bakes and cooks with me, but I can never remember the order of the ingredients. I love going over to her house and watching her prepare food. My older sister Miriam learned to make rice with chicken. Once she cooked our whole dinner. She is 10 years old. I don't really know what my favorite thing to bake is. I like to bake cookies, banana bread, and pumpkin bread. I can't yet use the stove by myself which makes it hard to cook anything. I am also really busy during the school year, and I don't have much time to watch my dad cook at home.

I will be starting 4th grade in one week, and I am 8 years old.

What else do you like to do besides cook?

Sincerely,
Sarah♥Sarah♥noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3565598103659255245.post-84167268410070731112012-08-08T23:51:46.238-07:002012-08-08T23:51:46.238-07:00Hello again, Ashleigh.

Of course, there aren't any schools down there. :)

My blogging journey only started about the middle of 2011. I saw some blogs and wanted to leave a comment but found I needed to join a blog provider. With prompts to start my own blog, I took the plunge and now have six, although only two are frequently used.

My computing journey started back in 1975 when I was in university. I first used them in classes in 1981 ans used the internet with classes around 1990. Blogging is the more recent step in my learning journey with technology. :)

Keep blogging.
@RossMannellrmannellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10325881715643049499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3565598103659255245.post-13419563963547735982012-08-08T19:55:58.149-07:002012-08-08T19:55:58.149-07:00Hi Ross,

What is your favourite thing to bake?

I have a little brother too who is four. He has his own toy guitar which he loves to play with.

In New Zealand we don’t have grades. We have years which are similar to grades. One thing we learn in blogging is our posts aren't limited to our computer. They can open us up to the world. There are many interesting people in the world interested in what we have to say. We know this when we see comments flow in. :)

Keep up the blogging. It is a Spanish dish which includes a special type of rice, either seafood or chicken, paprika - a type of seasoning, red peppers and lots of other yummy ingredients. I enjoy cooking this as it is very methodical and involves a variety of different cooking techniques.

Do you cook meals for your family? Do you enjoy cooking?

For me I probably prefer to bake rather than cook. I enjoy baking because I prefer sweet food over savory.
With baking you have to follow the recipe exactly and be very methodical. I do like to cook also as you don't have to follow the recipe exactly and you can through in your own flavourings and ingredients.

You are obviously quite a musical person seeing as you play the piano and violin. I play the guitar but I would love to know how to play the piano properly.

Once again Thank you for your comment. I really hope that we can keep in touch.

From your blogging buddy,
Ashleigh!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3565598103659255245.post-64664337616400885962012-07-31T20:46:52.986-07:002012-07-31T20:46:52.986-07:00Dear Ashley,

I think you will make a great chef after this class. what is your favorite thing to make? Do you like to cook or to bake? At our school, we don't have a cooking class, but we do have other enrichment programs such as art, chess club, and different kind of sports. I don't take any enrichment classes at my school, but I do many classes on my own after school, such as gymnastics, piano, and violin.

From,
Sarah (Mrs. Yollis' Class in USA)

P.S. Unlike special programmes, you don’t need to apply for enrichment programmes. Out of the choices given, you pick your top four choices and then get placed in a group. However, that doesn’t mean you get your top option, it is just an indicator for the teacher in charge of organising the groups for enrichment programmes. I participate in picture books, which involves looking at what makes a good picture book and creating our own books in pairs or on our own.

From your blogging buddy
KadinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3565598103659255245.post-82269289929617453642012-06-14T00:07:58.876-07:002012-06-14T00:07:58.876-07:00Dear room 24,
